Elections for the Georgetown University Student Association (GUSA) are starting up on November 10th. The GUSA Class of 2026 Representative race is heating up as these strong-willed and strongly-opinionated candidates are working to represent the first fully on-campus freshman class since 2019. On the table? Dining hall issues, facility management, transportation, mental health, and, of course, the white tents. There are ten candidates running for seven open spots, and only members of the class of 2026 are allowed to vote. The GU Review has obtained personal statements from each candidate, and has synthesized all the candidates’ information into the following candidate profiles. These profiles hope to inform freshman voters on the candidates, their platforms, and their motivations for running. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order by last name.
